Delivery of a Tomach 10-ton midi excavator.
In the context of full electrification, FPS Machines reached a milestone in March 2025 and delivered a 10-ton mid-sized excavator to their valued partner Tomach. It concerns a model from the Tomach series, the heaviest variant of it. At the largest outdoor fair in Western Europe, the Technische Kontakt Dagen, this mid-sized excavator was proudly shown and demonstrated. These days took place in June 2025, in Sint-Oedenrode. The heavy-duty machine is equipped with a 212 kWh battery pack from FPS Machines' factory. But that's not all: the manufacturer has rebuilt the original model completely and electrified all systems. From the motor to the air conditioning. The demonstration during TKD was a first for both Tomach and FPS Machines: it was the first time that a quiet and emission-free heavy-duty excavator performed its work in full operation. It drew only enthusiastic reactions from this ET2100. For young and old alike! The prototype paves the way for bringing this Tomach-machine model into production. FPS Machines is set up to convert its production into serial production, because the expectation is that in the coming years the demand for this form of transition will increase. FPS Machines is at the forefront technologically with a unique 212 kWh battery pack. It concerns so-called LiFePO4 batteries, which are manufactured and wired in-house. In addition, this company from Rijen also has the know-how in the field of electric drivetrains and the machines themselves. That leads to excellent performance that the civil engineering and construction sector can benefit from. The ET2100 runs a full workday on a single charge. And that is groundbreaking!
