FPS Machines: passion for technology and mobile machines

A company doesn’t just grow into an innovator in electric drive systems and batteries. It starts somewhere. From a certain drive, or passion. From a technical heart! Frank van de Staak (Rijen) founded FPS Machines as early as 2017. Drawing on his background as an automotive engineer, he sought new techniques to electrically operate excavators from now on. No longer on diesel or other traditional fuels, but emission-free.

Our core values
passion

We are passionate about our work and our technology; we strive to excel and to innovate.

Innovation

We embrace new ideas, products, and processes with enthusiasm, and we continually push the boundaries.

Reliable

Our dedication and reliability are evident in both our products and our team. This is how we guarantee quality in everything we deliver.

careful

We are convinced that carefulness and thorough research are more important than quick solutions. We ensure that every detail is well thought out and developed.

goal-oriented

We focus on achieving the goals that have been set, to promote progress and success together. FPS Machines is also equipped for series production.

Developments in electrification

Parallel to FPS Machines, a sister company FPS Electric was established, producer of AllTrec mowing machines: fully electric-powered machines for the landscaping and contracting sectors. In addition, Frank and his team focused on electrification of existing machines, based on their own custom battery packs.

In the civil engineering and construction sectors, there was a need for more zero-emission vehicles, due to the strict nitrogen regulations and sustainability objectives. With rising demand for alternatives and the desire to be less dependent on batteries from third parties, Frank asked: “Why don't we make advanced battery systems ourselves?”

Short timeline

In 2019 the first excavator was successfully electrified, which paved the way for the development and eventual production of our own customized battery packs (2023). Ultimately intended for large-scale delivery to commercial and professional manufacturers and importers of mobile machines. In 2025 the first high-voltage system with a battery pack was developed and implemented on a 10-ton excavator. And the developments continue!

Spotting and seizing opportunities.

What drives us? Not only the pursuit of sustainable innovation. But also the motivation to in-house build beautiful, technical systems. Electrical systems that work and that solve the challenges of today for our target groups. In doing so, we can take the burden off you. A proper integration of components leads to battery packs and drive systems that work. And we want to stay on top of it continuously!

Where do we want to go?

It is challenging to fully electrify a construction machine, but our focus is increasingly on scaling up the production of robust (custom) battery packs and drive systems for a wide range of mobile machines. We dare to be that innovative partner who not only has knowledge of modern propulsion technologies, but also knows how your machine works! That is our strength, and from that strength we create long-term possibilities as a full-fledged OEM partner. Other Original Equipment Manufacturers who are looking for a reliable supplier of battery packs and electric drive systems will find FPS Machines to be the right address.
